Chicken Salad Crescent Sandwiches

 
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
2 cups red grapes (cut in half)
1 cup diced celery
1 cup cashews (chopped if desired)
2/3 cups mayonnaise
1/2 cup minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
6-8 crescent rolls

Cook chicken in boiling water and shred. In medium bowl, mix chicken with remaining ingredients. Serve on buttered crescent rolls with lettuce. Makes 6-8 sandwiches.
